Festival Season | Missguided Edit | Erin

The festival season is fast approaching in the UK with the fashion trends getting even crazier than ever before. Festival fashion has got to be easy to wear and comfortable. No one wants to be stuck in skin tight clothing in the scorching summer heat. Festivals are definitely one of the best opportunities to be completely creative and out there with what you wear.

I've been searching on Missguided to find you the perfect pieces to wear at a festival which are not only amazing but so affordable!

 CHROME/METALLIC:

These jackets are perfect for a festival. They're so lightweight but they fit with the theme so well and the chrome or metallic print is always popular. I love that it comes in the two different colours but they're not too full on.
The jacket is £25

CROTCHET

These two tops are the perfect mix of still looking good but going to a festival type looks. I think they're pretty but at the same time they stand out from a normal cropped top or bralet. Very festival-friendly.
On the left: £15, On the right: £22

HIGH WAIST, FRAYED SHORT

I loved the look of these shorts in both the blue and white denim. The high waisted with a bit of fraying on the edges shorts are a staple piece at a festival. They're so flattering and can be worn with anything. They're much more practical than a flared trouser is for example seeing as we are in Britain and the fields our festivals are held in have a 99% chance of being muddy.
  The shorts are £20

SEQUINS

This is probably one of the only times you can go all out on the sequins. The more popular choice with this is probably the disk sequins just because they create more of a look rather than just a sparkly bit of clothing if that makes sense (I know what I mean). But I like the way that its not just reserved for glamourous nights. Festivals can do sequins as well.
From top to bottom: £18, £40 £24, £25 £15, £40 £24

 THE FLARED LOOK

I feel like flares are a classic piece at a festival. For the person wearing them, they're the perfect combination of stylish and easy wearing. Snakeskin is something that seems to have crept back into style and so the combination of the flared trousers with that pattern gives a very 70s vibe. I love what Missguided has to offer with this.
 Top £25 £15, Trousers £22 £13

RETRO/ CO-ORD

Finding a good co ord is sometimes a challenge but I think this one is perfect for a festival. Not too heavy and would look great with one of the jackets from earlier. The retro style is always around in fashion but it still appears at festivals along with more of a sporty look. I love this jacket and think it looks good quality, retro looking and not too heavy either.
Co-ord Top £20, Co-ord Skirt £25, Jacket £25

 SCOOP NECK

Personally, I'm not a fan of a scoop neck because of the cleavage requirements that they usually come with (I know some of you will be able to relate). I have however found some easy wearing, mainly bodysuits that will go down well in your festival wardrobe. Very reasonably priced and they give again almost a sporty look. I love the Barbie collection on Missguided and I know that it will go down well with most of you reading this! The camo look along with it is something that I think will be popular as well, especially for the event.
From top to bottom: £10, £18 £8, £12, £25 £15

ACCESSORIES

Everyone is glitter mad these days so its not unlikely that people will be covered head to toe in the stuff but I've found something that's a bit more stand out and gives you more of a statement piece to your outfit. These jewels that stick to your body give you the extra finishing touch to your overall look. A bum bag is a must but this one comes across your body which I think is even better than on your waist. Both aren't bad in price at all and just great little accessories to have.
Bag £15, Jewels £8 £4

I hope my picks gave you a little bit more inspiration of things to wear if you're going to any festivals this summer! I've included the links to each photograph so you can find everything I've talked about. All the clothing on Missguided is so reasonably priced and there always seems to be some sort of offer on so I would keep an eye out for those. There's some really nice stuff on there and I would definitely recommend it, especially for if you're wanting clothing for something like a festival.

Thank you all for reading, Georgie will be back next week with another post!

Until Wednesday
