MY FAVOURITE YOUTUBERS | GEORGIE

Hi everyone and welcome back to Until Wednesday. I don't know if this is a bit random but today I thought I'd share my favorite YouTubers with you. I've split them into categories; Entertainment, Beauty/ Fashion and Photography/ Filmmaking. Hope you enjoy!

ENTERTAINMENT

SHANE DAWSON

Shane is probably my favorite YouTuber ever. He has really original content and his videos have me in hysterics. He does a mixture of conspiracy theories but he also creates mini-series which feature his friendship group who are the most entertaining bunch of people to watch on YouTube. If you like theories like me or if you want something more light-hearted then you will love his videos.

FAVORITE VIDEO:
SWITCHING LIVES WITH A BLIND PERSON or MINDBLOWING CONSPIRACY THEORIES

JAACKMATE

This guy is pretty controversial sometimes. His opinions can come on pretty strong, but his delivery is hilarious and makes me laugh so much. If you don't like sarcastic jokes or if you don't have the best sense of humor then his channel probably isn't for you. He can be very David Brent which is just another reason I love his channel.

FAVORITE VIDEO:
ZOELLA'S £50 ADVENT CALANDER or LOVE ISLAND IS BACK

XO

XO is a pretty new channel however it consists of four existing creators on YouTube that have come together a few months ago to create XO. The creators are TrueGeordie, his friend Lawrence, WillNE and Stephen Tries which is a great mixture as I loved the videos of all four of them already. Their channel is mainly football based however they also cover other areas on podcasts which are pretty funny. I would say this is another one of those channels that you should only watch if you don't take jokes too seriously.

FAVORITE VIDEO:
XO LIFE ADVICE or LIE DETECTOR

SIDEMEN

I know this is a bit generic but I do still like watching the Sidemen, I mean they are pretty entertaining. If you don't know who The Sidemen are, then basically it's a group of lads on YouTube who owns a group channel together. I like their dynamics as a group is it's a good video if you fancy a laugh. However, it's probably not for everyone.

LAUREN ELIZABETH

Okay, so I started watching Lauren Elizabeth a few years ago.  I like to watch her videos because of her style, and her home decor as I feel that I have a very similar taste to her, therefore, I love to hear her recommendations on brands and products. If you like the minimal but modern aesthetic that she has and that I LOVE then make sure to check out her Instagram too!

FAVORITE VIDEO:

NIKA ERCULJ

Honestly, I don't know how to pronounce her second name, but even still I love her videos. She has a great personality and I love the aesthetic of her videos and Instagram (I know this is liking videos for the wrong reason haha). Her content consists of a lot of TIPS videos, fashion hauls and how to live a happy and healthy lifestyle. I really like her positive attitude and her bubbly personality.

HELLO OCTOBER

Another YouTuber/ blogger with a great theme and aesthetic but also some great videos for people who love Fashion and Beauty. She is one of my favorite British content creators and I'm not going to lie, she lives a pretty cool life by getting invited to some amazing travel experiences and events with huge brands in the industry.

FAVORITE VIDEO:
ZARA HAUL or WHAT I WORE IN NEW YORK

IN THE FROW

In The Frow may be my favorite Fashion vlogger. I have watched her for a few years now and continue to love her opinions on Fashion. She has an amazing, classy style and always looks so put together. Once again, Victoria (her real name) gets invited to some of the most amazing events and holidays which she puts on her channel along with hauls and lookbooks.

Well, that's all for this post. I don't know if this is interesting to other people however I love finding out what other Youtubers people watch and what they would recommend so that is some of my personal favorites.

I'm going to do a bit of self-promo not (hehe) and say that you should check out my YouTube channel if you haven't seen it before. I haven't uplaoded a video in a while for a few reasons however I have loads of ideas for videos that I am planning and will be up soon so make sure you subscribe to see when they go up.

My channel is just Georgie Hardy and I only have 54 subscribers at the moment so any help would be much appreciated!!

Festival Season | Missguided Edit | Erin

The festival season is fast approaching in the UK with the fashion trends getting even crazier than ever before. Festival fashion has got to be easy to wear and comfortable. No one wants to be stuck in skin tight clothing in the scorching summer heat. Festivals are definitely one of the best opportunities to be completely creative and out there with what you wear.

I've been searching on Missguided to find you the perfect pieces to wear at a festival which are not only amazing but so affordable!

 CHROME/METALLIC:

https://www.missguided.co.uk/purple-metallic-rain-mac-jacket-10090770

These jackets are perfect for a festival. They're so lightweight but they fit with the theme so well and the chrome or metallic print is always popular. I love that it comes in the two different colours but they're not too full on.
The jacket is £25

CROTCHET

https://www.missguided.co.uk/purple-crochet-pom-pom-bralet-10098872https://www.missguided.co.uk/black-patchwork-crochet-bardot-knitted-crop-top-10096552

These two tops are the perfect mix of still looking good but going to a festival type looks. I think they're pretty but at the same time they stand out from a normal cropped top or bralet. Very festival-friendly.
On the left: £15, On the right: £22

HIGH WAIST, FRAYED SHORT

I loved the look of these shorts in both the blue and white denim. The high waisted with a bit of fraying on the edges shorts are a staple piece at a festival. They're so flattering and can be worn with anything. They're much more practical than a flared trouser is for example seeing as we are in Britain and the fields our festivals are held in have a 99% chance of being muddy.
  The shorts are £20

SEQUINS

https://www.missguided.co.uk/black-sequin-strappy-crop-top-10098584

This is probably one of the only times you can go all out on the sequins. The more popular choice with this is probably the disk sequins just because they create more of a look rather than just a sparkly bit of clothing if that makes sense (I know what I mean). But I like the way that its not just reserved for glamourous nights. Festivals can do sequins as well.
From top to bottom: £18, £40 £24, £25 £15, £40 £24

 THE FLARED LOOK

https://www.missguided.co.uk/blue-slinky-snake-print-kick-flare-trousers-10093798https://www.missguided.co.uk/pink-flute-sleeve-blouse-10098450

I feel like flares are a classic piece at a festival. For the person wearing them, they're the perfect combination of stylish and easy wearing. Snakeskin is something that seems to have crept back into style and so the combination of the flared trousers with that pattern gives a very 70s vibe. I love what Missguided has to offer with this.
 Top £25 £15, Trousers £22 £13

RETRO/ CO-ORD

https://www.missguided.co.uk/petite-black-paisley-textured-skirt-10097500
https://www.missguided.co.uk/blue-colour-block-wind-breaker-jacket-10099217https://www.missguided.co.uk/petite-black-paisley-textured-crop-top-10097499

Finding a good co ord is sometimes a challenge but I think this one is perfect for a festival. Not too heavy and would look great with one of the jackets from earlier. The retro style is always around in fashion but it still appears at festivals along with more of a sporty look. I love this jacket and think it looks good quality, retro looking and not too heavy either.
Co-ord Top £20, Co-ord Skirt £25, Jacket £25

 SCOOP NECK

https://www.missguided.co.uk/white-v-neck-zip-bralet-10064395https://www.missguided.co.uk/brown-wide-stripe-bodysuit-10105671

Personally, I'm not a fan of a scoop neck because of the cleavage requirements that they usually come with (I know some of you will be able to relate). I have however found some easy wearing, mainly bodysuits that will go down well in your festival wardrobe. Very reasonably priced and they give again almost a sporty look. I love the Barbie collection on Missguided and I know that it will go down well with most of you reading this! The camo look along with it is something that I think will be popular as well, especially for the event.
From top to bottom: £10, £18 £8, £12, £25 £15
https://www.missguided.co.uk/pink-metallic-striped-scoop-neck-dress-10097366https://www.missguided.co.uk/barbie-missguided-pink-barbie-slogan-camo-bodysuit-10104023

ACCESSORIES

https://www.missguided.co.uk/silver-chain-link-bum-bag-10100332https://www.missguided.co.uk/the-gypsy-shrine-blue-snow-ice-queen-chest-piece-10076595

Everyone is glitter mad these days so its not unlikely that people will be covered head to toe in the stuff but I've found something that's a bit more stand out and gives you more of a statement piece to your outfit. These jewels that stick to your body give you the extra finishing touch to your overall look. A bum bag is a must but this one comes across your body which I think is even better than on your waist. Both aren't bad in price at all and just great little accessories to have.
Bag £15, Jewels £8 £4

I hope my picks gave you a little bit more inspiration of things to wear if you're going to any festivals this summer! I've included the links to each photograph so you can find everything I've talked about. All the clothing on Missguided is so reasonably priced and there always seems to be some sort of offer on so I would keep an eye out for those. There's some really nice stuff on there and I would definitely recommend it, especially for if you're wanting clothing for something like a festival.

Thank you all for reading, Georgie will be back next week with another post!

GUIDE TO YOUR SUMMER CAPSULE WARDROBE AT ZARA | GEORGIE

ZARA SUMMER CAPSULE WARDROBE

Hey everyone and welcome back to Until Wednesday. It's me (Georgie) back again this Wednesday for another post.

Today I am going to be helping those of you who want to achieve a capsule wardrobe this summer. To clarify, I'm going to show you how to fill your wardrobe with staple clothing items that never go out of fashion and that can be easily mixed and matched due to the simplicity in color and design.

However, all the clothing items I will show you are from Zara because I honestly think that it's the best high street store for getting great quality clothing for a very reasonable price.

There may be some things which I have missed out but I am basing this off of what I would have in my personal wardrobe.

Lets get started!

SHORTS

Shorts are super easy going and a clear staple for any summer wardrobe. There are so many different styles of shorts in ZARA however I picked out a couple of my favourites that I felt would last for years rather than statement pieces.

PAPER BAG BERMUDA SHORTS - £19.99
These shorts are ideal for a staple wardrobe item this summer. Not only are they on trend but I feel that they could be worn summer after summer. I picked these ones out because I love anything high waisted and I think they are super elegant and classy.

MOM-FIT BERMUDA SHORTS - £19.99

In a similar fit, I found these denim shorts which I feel are a summer must have. ZARA had plenty of options for denim shorts however I liked these ones in particular because of the vintage look of them and once again the high waisted fit.

MAXI DRESS

I think that a maxi dress is one of those items of clothing where you can just throw it on and look like you have made much more effort that you probably have.

'SPECIAL GARMENT' STRAPPY DRESS - £25.99

This maxi dress is super classy and timeless. I think that is would last a long time as I don't see it as a piece for one particular age. I love the straps as I think it is really elegant.

LONG RIBBED DRESS - £19.99

This dress is probably more suited to beach wear however I really like the simplicity of the design which is probably what makes it a great staple item. Its very clean looking and chic with the stripes. I love how ZARA have styled this look.

SWIMWEAR

Once again, this is for a staple wardrobe so I have picked two swimsuits that are very simplistic. If you are going on holiday, then ZARA have some beautiful swimwear and also have options for if you want a more statement swimsuit.

TEXTURED SWIMSUIT - £25.99

I really like the strappy detail on this bathing suit and I feel that the shape would be super flattering.

V-NECK TEXURED WEAVE BIKINI TOP

You can't go wrong with a plain white bikini so I found this one from ZARA which is super simple.

STRAPPY TOP

I have been wearing strappy tops or vests with everything at the moment therefore I had to include it in my summer capsule wardrobe.

STRAPPY TOP - £5.99

This is so simplistic however as I said I have been wearing this style of top ALL THE TIME. I don't think you can go wrong with something like this and it will be in your wardrobe for years to come.

STRAPPY TOP - £9.99

Once again this is super simple but will go with so many things in your wardrobe. If you fancy something a bit more dressy or showing off your tan, this is probably a better option for you.

CULOTTE JEANS

Z1975 VINTAGE CULOTTE JEANS - £25.00

I have found that I prefer culotte or wide leg jeans so much more to skinny jeans in the past few months and they are much more suitable for summer. These may not be for everyone but I love these ones shown above with a statement belt and a strappy top. I think the price is so reasonable as well.

CULOTTE JEANS WITH BELT - £29.99

I love this style once again but I like how these ones have a slightly different type of denim and I also love how the belt matches the fabric of the denim. These are so easy to wear and can be matched with so much.

JEANS HIGH WAIST CULOTTE LILAC - £29.99

SHOCKER I've included some colour (HAHAHA). I don't really wear colour myself apart from the occasional pop but I do think this is a subtle way of adding colour into your staple items. I think this bubblegum pink colour is super cute and perfect for the season and will probably stay in your wardrobe for a while.

DENIM DRESS/ PINAFORE

I think that denim dresses are so cute and look like you've put loads of effort into an outfit. They go with so much. For example, a turtle neck top, a basic tee or they can just be worn by themselves.

AUTHENTIC DENIM STRAPPY DRESS - £29.99

I love the shape of this one, it's so flattering! I think that the buttons are a really nice edition and the slight vintage tones to the denim.

AUTHENTIC DENIM DRESS - £29.99

Once again, I like the vintage look to this dress. If you want something that you don't have to pair with a tee then this is a great option. (SIDE NOTE: I envy this models hair so much!)

AUTHENTIC DENIM PINAFORE DRESS - £29.99

Another great staple item is a pinafore. This looks great with a tee underneath and I love wearing them myself. They are also nice to wear in winter with a jumper so it's a great piece for all year round.

DENIM SKIRT

I have really got into my denim skirts this year. In particular midi or vintage style denim skirts I have been loving.

DENIM MIDI SKIRT - £25.99

I tried this on in ZARA the other day and loved it! It's much more flattering that you would think. I did find a dupe for it in Affleck's for £10 so if you live in Manchester there's a little secret for you haha.

DENIM MINI SKIRT WITH SEAM DETAIL - £29.99

I really want this skirt myself to be honest. I've never liked A-Line shapes but I think this works really well with this skirt and with the high waist.

SANDALS

I feel that everyone needs a pair of sandals for summer. ZARA have so many different options for sandals so I have selected a few that I feel would last a long time.

FAUX PATENT LEATHER BLOCK-HEEL SANDALS - £25.99

These are a great option for if you are going out or going for a meal on holiday. It's always nice to have a dressier pair of sandals.

The following pairs are more wedge style of slip on sandals:

PLAITED FLATFORM SANDALS - £49.99

FLAT STUDDED SANDALS - £29.99

CONTRAST WEDGES - £29.99

PLATFROM POLKA DOT WEDGES - £39.99

RELAXED TROSUERS

I love to have a pair of relaxed trousers in my wardrobe for the evening whether it's going for cocktails with friends or going for a meal on holiday.

STRIPED TROSUES  - £29.99

I really like the stripes on this pair of trousers and how the stripes contrast on the waist section. I think these are so easy to wear and would be a great addition to anyones summer wardrobe.

FLOWING TROUSERS  - £29.99

These white trousers are super classy and really flattering. My sister has just bought these herself and in real life the quality is amazing. They look so expensive.

JEANS

As I said before, I am not really into skinny jeans anymore and prefer a lose fit. ZARA have some lovely mom jeans and these are my two favourites that I found.

Z1975 MOM JEANS  - £25.99

I think everyone should have a pair or jeans like this is their wardrobe, they are so easy to throw on and go with pretty much anything.

NEW STRAIGHT WHITE JEANS - £29.99

I've never really liked white jeans however I think they look so much classier in this mom jeans style. They would look great with a strappy vest and a pair of wedges.

SUNHAT

In terms of accessories, a sun hat is a great staple item for summer. I love how big this one is and it's so classy. I much prefer a floppy style to the stiff fabric sun hats.

WIDE-BRIM SUNHAT - £25.99

WHITE PLIMSOLS

This is such a basic item but it can be worn with pretty much anything. They look great with shorts or maybe a sundress.

WHITE PLIMSOLS - £25.99

CHUNKY SOLE SNEAKERS - £49.99

SUNDRESS

I think a sundress is a perfect day-to-night outfit. Once again, you can throw on a sundress and look like you've been much more effort with your outfit.

FLORAL CAMISOLE DRESS - £29.99

I think this one is so pretty with the strappy look and the lace detailing around the bottom hem of the dress.

WHITE TEE

White T-Shirts are so easy to wear. I personally love wearing them tucked into a pair of jeans or shorts. This is one of the most important staple items for any season.

BASIC ASYMMETRIC T-SHIRT - £5.99

I like the loose fit of this tee as it would look great slightly tucked in but a bit pulled out with a pair of mom jeans.

RIB T-SHIRT - £5.99

I have a few of these t-shirts from ZARA and I love the fit and the slightly higher neckline. They're so comfortable and soft.
